Lunge forward and swing your hatchet at Marie (Zeke)

You raise your hatchet over your head. Knowing there's no point in further stealth, you let out a blood-curdling war whoop as you hurl your body forward and bring the hatchet down with all your might, aiming to chop off Marie's head.
Caught by surprise, Marie's body reacts a half-second too late. She manages to avoid being decapitated by your swing, but as she tries to dodge, your blow cuts deep enough into her neck to slice open her carotid artery. Marie drops to the ground, bleeding out, the light leaving her eyes.
"Zeke," she gurgles. "Don't... stay... a... monster..."
She looks at you, as if pleading for your soul, and with her dying breath whispers, "Heal... yourself..."
You step onto the trail, raise your bloody hatchet into the air, and let out a war whoop. It's only then that you realize what Marie asked of you. You lay down your weapons -- the battle is over.
