Brad's Arrival
The Fat Controller brings in Brad, an American Tank Engine, to helping with Harbour Shunting durin the construction of a yacht marina. Upon Brad's arrival, he tells Percy about where he came from and what happened during his trials and the war ceremony allowing him to come to Europe.
Thomas Goes Yachting
Thomas laughs at Brad because of coming overseas and calls him a 'sailor engine'. But Thomas ends up being called that, when he ignores warnings of slippery tracks near the marina, and crashes into mud near the yacht slipway.
Thomas is Really Famous
Thomas and Brad are given a treat by going to America for a special event. There, they meet numerous American engines and both have a wonderful time.
Brad, Jinty and Bear
A new signalman accidentally sends Bear's passenger train onto Thomas' Branch Line, and Bear stops on a weak viaduct. Brad and Jinty arrive, and assist with the rescue. Bear is finally safe again, and Brad and Jinty are thanked for their bravery and strength.

- Jinty is now a permanent resident of Sodor, stationed at Knapford to shunt coaches for the Big Engines
- A reference to 'Super Rescue' is made
