With cat-quick reflexes, you just barely dodge Vanessa's knife thrust. As you feel the blade graze your ribs, you instinctively move your knife hand up. Vanessa's forward motion carries her right into your knife's path.
With a sickening sound, the knife stabs into her heart. Vanessa drops to the floor with a thud and gasps.
"Brooke..." she whispers. "Don't... become... a monster..."
The light leaves her eyes. You reach down and close them.
Tears form in your own eyes and drip to the floor. You may be the "winner", but you don't feel like you've won anything.
- You've killed nine people in 60 hours, including your own brother! You can't live with that. Kill yourself!
- You only did what you had to do to survive. It's not your fault you were picked for this stupid game! Wait for the winner's ceremony.
