Mr. Droford's Classroom
You keep yourself still and do not pull away from Mr. Droford's touch. Your lessons are taken very seriously by your father and a bad word from him could be problematic for you and a good word would go a long way. He keeps his hand gently on your back as he peers over your shoulder, reviewing the work that you have been doing. "Hmmm, not bad Mira, not bad", he says as he leans in closer. You swallow hard as he leans closer to you, his hand still touching your back softly. You get that feeling again about something creepy about him again that you cannot shake.
After a minute or so, Mr. Dunford takes his hand off of your back and he goes and visits some of the other students, touching some of them in a similar way. You return to your work and try as best as you can to focus on the lesson. It was very true that your tutors have a bit of power over you in the sense that a good or bad report from them would either make things a lot easier for you or a lot harder for you. Mr. Droford is a teacher who very much has favorites... maybe it would be good to become one of his favorites?
