As Melanie protests, you pull up the driveway quickly, park in the garage, use the remote to shut the door, and shut off the car.
"What are you doing?" She asks. "Didn't you see all that? We're not safe here. Something big is happening!"
"I did see it," you say. "And whatever is going on, we need to really think about what our next move is. More than just rushing off to the cops, who are probably dead or reaaaaally busy at the moment."
