Carefully you remove your pack and leave it on a stone, far enough – you hope – from the grass. You leave your sword as well, and your money pouch: everything that isn't tied onto your body. If anyone should happen by and steal them, you'll be in serious trouble. Then you wade out into the grass to search for what you might find.
You search through the grass, while the blade try to pick and pry at your shoes, your tunic, even your hair and fingers. You find nothing but a locket containing a small portrait of a woman. It is delicate and carefully made. Whoever loved this woman must have loved her very much. Pretty, but useless... unless?
