Get dressed and ready for the new school day

You get out of bed and dress. Kerri still hasn't risen. "Are you all right?" you ask, worriedly.

"Uhhh..." Kerri moans. "I'm... confused..."

You walk over to her, gently scoop her into your arms, and sit her on your lap. "What's there to be confused about?" you whisper. "I think you're sweet, beautiful, kind, and smart."

Kerri blushes. "Well... uh..."

"Oh, I get it," you grin. "You think we only got together because I found out your secret? Kerri, I've liked you for a long time. I admit it is nice to know you won't leave me because theoretically I could reveal that you're actually a blonde. But you're far from dumb. I think you're one of the best things that's ever happened to me."

Kerri impulsively wraps her arms around you. "Susan..."

You hold her lovingly. "The weather is going to be nice," you murmur. "I think we should go for a date this afternoon. But we need to get you dressed and get over to school." Kerri gives you a quick kiss, then hastily starts pulling on her clothes.

You arrive at school and head off to your various classes. After school, you and Kerri quickly finish up your homework and studying in the library. It's too pretty an afternoon to waste inside.

"Where should we go, Susan?" Kerri says with a smile.

• Take Kerri for a stroll by the lake
• Take Kerri to the park, where a local theatre company is holding an outdoor performance of "The Little Mermaid"
