Failure (or fail or FAIL) refers to the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and may be viewed as the opposite of success.

"FAIL" is the name of a popular Internet meme where users superimpose the word "FAIL" or "EPIC FAIL" onto embarrassing, ironic, or compromising photos or videos. The word FAIL is commonly used to comment on pictures or video when the commenter does not like it or just cannot think of what to say.
The word "FAIL" has become such a hit on the intarwebs that it launched Fail Blog, which has begun taking over YouTubes.
