Look out world, here comes a guy as tough as a regular guy but easier to catch. Also known as Edward "Eddie" Nigma, Riddler is a Gotham City supervillain and nemesis of Batman who's made a career out of being a smartass. Super powers include tattling on himself and somehow not getting messily murdered by all the other residents of Arkham Asylum.

Character design varies wildly depending on the artist. Sometimes he's in spandex, sometimes he's in suits. Once spent a short period of time as a South American transvestite. Secretly into BDSM, apparently.

Recently in Paul Dini's Detective Comics Riddler has given up crime to become a Private Investigator who watches too much Monk and House. Awesome but will probably be quickly forgotten by all other writers.

Ykari has a severe obsession with Eddie Nigma and where he goes, she does. She likes to insist that the Riddler is incredibly gay and DC just hasn't admitted it yet.
