The Pinchers is an Independent Work by ATKtrains which debuted on the Sodor Island Forums in November of 2005. It is about a band, known as The Pinchers, and their experiences together. Originally featured in A Very Pinchy Wedding, the band proved to be popular among the forum, and a sequel, A Very Pinchy Honeymoon was written. Currently, The Pinchers' first 'real' series, A Very Pinchy Life is being written, expected to debut before September of 2006.

The series takes place in the fictional town of Brosburg Pennsylvania, and the band lives together, with their wives, at their own estate, known as, 'The Pinch Mansion.'
