Mene rhombea

From Paleos

Mene rhombea was a perciform fish found in the Tethys Ocean during the Eocene. As suggested by their fossils' small, upturned mouths, M. rhombea was a planktivore. Their fossils from the laggerstat Monte Bolca are greatly valued.
