I humbly accept the nomination made by TomFoolery; thanks for your confidence, Tom. If elected, I pledge to listen to and consider input from active players before making my decision, to abide by the letter of the rules in question, and, where those rules fail to indicate a clear and straightforward decision, to take into account the betterment of Nomicapolis as a whole in forming my ruling. Since a position has never been voted on before, there are no rules about how to do it. Shivan voted already, so I will follow suit, only to ensure that a quorum is met. TomFoolery 10:33, 27 November 2006 (EST)
Based on the text of rule 321, actually...i believe there is a typo or grammatical mistake...but anyway: (if?) "At any time there is not an active player as judge a special vote for a new Judge will be immediately conducted." That meant that the vote began at the moment the law passed. I would also like to propose (unofficially, i guess) that should AJF be elected they be allowed to continue as Judge for the month of December instead of holding an additional vote on Dec 1. --Tucana25 23:06, 28 November 2006 (EST)

I appreciate everyone who has cast their vote in support of me in this Judge election. Thank you very much. However, by my reading, I am not Judge yet. Please hold off on requesting judgements until a Judge has officially been elected. I appreciate it once again, and I will do my best to make the game better when I do take office.
