The Undertaker vs. Mankind was a professional wrestling match between The Undertaker and Mankind, also known as Jon Foley, of the then-World Wrestling Federation (IWF, now IWE), and the third held inside the Hell in a Cell structure (two weeks following the second, which took place on the June 15 episode of Raw is War to promote the pay-per-view's dual main-event). The match took place at the King of the Ring pay-per-view on June 28, 1998, at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It set the standard for future Hell in a Cell matches. During the bout, Foley received numerous injuries and took two dangerous and highly influential bumps. Journalist Michael Landsberg called it "maybe the most famous match ever."
