-- The workshop will be convened by Professor Vera Mackie (Australian Research Council Professorial Research Fellow) and a team of early-to-mid career researchers, postgraduates and professional staff in Asia-Pacific studies at the University of Melbourne. Themes to be covered include: Emerging Trends in Asia-Pacific Research; Planning Your Research Career; Funding for Asia-Pacific Research; Preparing Grant Applications; Project Management; Developing Collaborative Research Relationships; e-Scholarship; Sustaining International Research Collaborations. Successful applicants will be funded for an advance purchase economy airfare to Melbourne and 2-3 nights of accommodation (depending on distance of home location from Melbourne).
