Elduar lives in Misty Knoll, in Urthos.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Elduar is a tall and thin human, though not at all pale or scrawny. He tends to wear black clothing with silver trim, and his black hair is mostly grey these days. His narrow goatee still retains most of its original color, but it has enough grey to give it a wizened look.

Elduar wasn't raised in a backward farming village, he's obviously originally from one of the larger cities to the South (the PCs haven't asked which one yet, though, so I don't have to pick one! Ha!). He's obviously educated (he's an alchemist), and he's fond of medium-to-large words despite his propensity for "hm"ing in thought after a couple of them.

Description

Elduar is one of the pillars of the small society that resides in Misty Knoll. He's the only alchemist for several days' journey, and he's willing to exchange alchemical items for food and services from the villagers at far, far less than their actual value. He owns a medium-sized house near the center of the village, and operates a small general store and alchemical supply store from the front of it.

Elduar is currently romantically entangled with Sister Steila. Their relationship has been going on for quite a while now (the entire village has known about it for over a year and a half), but Elduar's a bit old-fashioned and shy. There's actually a large betting pool among the villagers over which of the two is going to ask the other him/her first.
