You are walking down Oxford Street, in your dusted and worn clothes bought from a thrift shop. You still have branded clothes, they're just not really from this decade. You look at all the shop windows and if you could ever afford to purchase these products. You see some other lads from your neighborhood, Jay and Smith. They go by there family names.
Jay says "Moss, where you been man? We've just come from seeing Dave's uncle"
You ask "Who is Dave and is uncle?"
Smith replies "He is the one who can get us lads a job!"
You are confused because at 12 years old why would you need a job but on the other hand you think about being able to buy things for yourself. "True man, any chance I could meet 'em?"
Jay replies "Yeah, no problem. I can get you in easy! But you got to get what you've been asked done... otherwise your flat"
"Flat?"
He responds "Yeah kaput, zero, dead sir"
