Your name is Cole. Cole Jones. You have a 4.0 GPA from first trimester, a pre-planned out high school career, and two different personalized calculators. You identify yourself as a nerd, and are proud of the fact. You're roughly average height, with short brown hair and glasses. You also happen to play tenor sax in the school band.
That's not to say you have no social life. Your tight group of friends is small, but outside of them, nearly a third of the freshman class has asked for your help at some point or another, so you know plenty of people. Granted, few of them ever contact you unless they need to know what a nucleus is, or how to graph a quadratic equation, but you still have at least slight association with a lot of people.
As you step onto the bus, soon after its arrival at your house, you spot only two seats. The first is by a sophomore you vaguely know, who goes by the name of Cameron. The other would place you directly between two pairs of cheerleaders. You're not certain splitting them up is a good idea.
