You say nothing, instead giving him a cold, cruel look. He sets you back down. You take the opportunity to slide into the red-haired jock.

Ashley looks confused at first as she regains control of her mind, but her natural instincts take over. "Get away from me, you muscle-brain," she growls. "I know how you feel about me. I'm not dumb... unlike you."

You blow Ashley a kiss. "You can be as negative as you want," you tell her. "But you're still beautiful and smart. If you were ever to try to like people, you'd be as close to perfection as a human being can be. And yes, I do like you a lot, even if you pretend to hate me."

"Go flunk your quiz, you big lummox," Ashley acidly responds. The bell rings and you hasten to your classroom.

You easily ace your quiz and the rest of the day is a breeze. Football practice is enjoyable and after you get back in your normal clothes and step out of the locker room, you get many admiring looks from the female students.
