From Create Your Own Story

You relax, shoving your paranoid thoughts aside and sighing. Chizuru hasn't shown any malice toward you, so there's no reason for you to suspect her, right? Right.

You suddenly realize that you are very sleepy. Your body aches all over, and your mind is desperately calling for rest. You lay back on the surprisingly comfortable bed, pulling the sheet up to your chin and sighing again. Closing your eyes, you drift slowly off to sleep-

Suddenly, a loud explosion sounds from outside the window, shaking the entire room and startling you awake. You leapt from the bed, crashing to the floor as your knees give out. The window shatters as another explosion rings out, and you can smell something burning.

Fire! You think, panicking. The door slams open, revealing the purple-haired man from before. He immediately rushes to your side, pulling you to your feet and leading you toward the door. You glance up at him, your eyes wide with fear, and somehow find your voice.

"What's going on?!"

He glances down at you, his expression serious. "We're being attacked. Chizuru sent me to get you out of here. Can you walk on your own?"

You nod, straightening and standing on your own as he releases you. He moves ahead, pausing for only a moment to make sure you're following him before heading down the hallways away from the explosions. You follow as quickly as you can, your hair whipping around your face as you run after the taller man. He leads you though a maze of cooridoors that you know you would never have been able to get though on your own before finally getting outside, where you realize with a start that it must be evening. The stars twinkle above you as you run, lighting your way along with the almost-full moon.

The man - you suddenly remember his name was Saitou - heads around a corner and stops, nearly making you crash into him. He glances sharply back at you, silencing any comments you were about to make with his cold stare, and speaks.

"You can escape into the forest here if you wish, or you can continue to follow me. I warn you, though. The path in my footsteps will be very dangerous from here on, and I cannot guarantee your safety. What do you want to do?"

You pause for a moment, your thoughts racing. Should you go with him, or not? What do you decide to do?:
