Unwritten/Chun/Charge to kill the creature

You charge in, time to end this once and for all. The creature smirks at you and makes no move to dodge you. When you get close, one of his arms flashes at you lightning-quick. Prepared for this, you roll under the blow and stab upwards when he's above you. Warm blood gushes down on your upper body and you hear a painfull scream from the creature, it sounds like music to your ears.

Getting back to your feet quickly, you want to move in and finish the fight. only to find the creature gone. there's blood splatters where it was just a moment ago, but the creature is nowhere in sight. Focusing, you can make out some blood splatters leading away from you. You feel the rush of victory and have half a mind to chase it down.
