Unwritten\Werewolf common traits

From Create Your Own Story

Werewolves' common traits :

>1.APPEARANCE : A werewolf looks just like he used to back when he was human, untill he transforms.

Transformed, a werewolf is easily 9 to 12 feet tall on average when standing on the hind legs. It has an appearance that resembles a bear from afar, yet has the unmistable characteristics of a wolf up close (snout/wolf-like fur/). It's front legs are somewhat different from those of a wolf and end in long razor-sharp claws.

It prefers to keep a low profile on all fours and has a stealthy, slinking movement. Despite it's size it could sneak up right behind an unaware human without ever being detected.

Like wolves, they do not bark, and only growl when facing off with an alerted enemy. If the enemy doesn't know of it's presence, it won't announce it.

They are known to howl when there is a full moon and gather toghether. On any day aside from a full moon, they are lone hunters. It is suspected howling to the full moon is part of their mating ritual.

>2.PHYSICAL ABILITIES/SENSES : Massive Beasts with impressive musculature. They can easily knock down the average wooden wall or a thinner stone wall. A car can be knocked aside from the flank or torn open from the top by these beasts. Charging at a speeding car head-on is unwise, even for them.

They may be able to knock over, but cannot really damage, most armoured vehicles. Tanks are completely impervious to anything they can do.

bullets will barely slow an enraged werewolf down. If you keep shooting however, they will eventually wear it down. Killing it with bullets would be a rather expensive and tiresome venture alltogether.

They are both faster and stronger than vampires, but don't generally have the presence of mind to employ any complicated combat skills and their bodies are poorly suited for handling weaponry.

Their hides and bones are tough enough that any human mellee attack without a sharp weapon is doomed. Even with a sharp weapon, it would be extremely difficult for a human to cause any significant damage to a werewolf in close combat.

Explosives will work as well against werewolves as they would against any human. Tho the werewolf is more likely to survive getting hit by a grenade due to sheer size.

>3.NOURISHMENT : Werewolves are carnivores, any non-meat food they eat will just be vomited back out again not too long afterwards. They can eat any meat any other carnivore would eat.

>4.ENVIRONMENT : No particular differences with a human, somewhat more resistant to the cold in werewolf form.

>5.HYGIENE : Mostly the same as a human when in human form. They Always have the definite smell of a canine around them and a tendency to not wash as often as a decent human might. Unless you count tongue-baths in their wolf form.

>6.HEALING/REGENERATION: Werewolves regenerate very quickly in wolf form. A severed limb may take a while, but will most likely be healed by the time they change back. (tho it may take somewhat longer to regain full functionality with said limb)

In human form they heal significantly faster than a human. A doctor would be Quite surprised, but likely write it of to the werewolf being "one damn tough bastard".

>7.HERITAGE: Largely unknown, they have the same anatomy as a human when in human form, but carry DNA that overlaps with Wolves. As well as Unidentifiable DNA. Werewolves can be traced back quite far into history, but there is no clue to when or how they first appeared.

To turn a human into a werewolf, it requires for the human to get the werewolves bodily fluids in their bloodstream. Any kind of bodily fluid will do. If the human fails to transform, they will die a slow and agonizing death over the next few weeks. Not sexually transmitted unless you indulge in 'blood play' or happen to be a virgin girl.
