You sign up for baseball.
"Go to the diamond," the receptionist says. "Tryouts are starting right now."
She points you in the correct direction. You walk over and are greeted by an assistant coach, who hands you a uniform. "Get this on and get out there," he grunts. "Let's see what skills you have."
Five minutes later, you are uniformed and jog back on to the diamond. The head coach walks over.
"Name?" he asks.
"Jack Foster," you reply.
"Okay, Foster," he says. "What position do you play?"
