Shaking your head you realise that this entire thing is a fools errand, a dead end, a waste of time. You muster your strength once again and begin to leave. Walking down the hallway the light of the front door almost seems to dim as a strange figure appears before you. As you catch a glimpse you are mortified at this split image of you. Only something is different. The figure begins to walk as though its exhausted and suddenly collapses at your feet. You hold it up and look up to find that another figure seems to be rushing towards you, Almost completely unaware you are even here. She kneels beside you, her arm reaches out to hold your twins cheek for a moment, and you realise she is crying. Then it hits you, she is the girl you have been with for almost a year now!
Looking at her as she suddenly disappears, her eyes meet yours and you think you hear her say something in an almost eery whisper "If only you had....." Almost driven mad by what you just witnessed you flee the house and bolt out the door and new found speeds, wondering if you are finally going completely insane and seeing things that dont exist. Running without end, and without direction, you head towards her house. You have to know what you saw wasnt real. You could not have known that her father was hunting in the woodlands south of the house.
The world vanishes around you into complete darkness as you hear a whistle, and feel a sharp pain in your chest. You hear a women crying out as you collapse to the ground and slowly begin to become colder and colder, your breath being pulled from your body like a loose tooth. A man holds you up as the girl you fell in love with runs towards you and places her hand on your cheek. Darkness begins to claim you until at last with the last of your time you think "If only i had stayed"
An Unfortunate choice, resulted in and unfortunate end but all is not lost. A strange force guides you back into the world allowing you a chance to reconsider. Or perhaps in your anguish you imagined the entire thing, Find out and take on your journey -----
