Try the middle passage again...

From Create Your Own Story

You steel yourself, you jog about a bit to try and warm up as best you can, and then you start down the middle way again, this time searching the walls, the floor, and the ceiling very thoroughly.

Your extra effort makes the experience seem to take unbearably long, and you feel your body getting sluggish from the cold, your extremities going numb quite soon. Eventually, you find yourself nodding off, and you abandon the effort to examine the passage in favor of going forward as fast as you can manage to get back to the chamber from before, hoping to find something warm there.

However, no matter how fast you manage to limp, you still do not see the familiar glow of the moss ahead, even though you are certain you've gone much further than the last time you went this way. The exhaustion soon sets in, and you slip and fall down, hitting your head on the stone with dangerous force. You are so numb you can no longer stand up, and in this pitch dark hall, your eyelids slowly droop down...
