You toss in a pickle. Once the pickle touches the water it immediately absorbs all the water in the fountain. The pickle becomes gi-normous and sprouts legs. It stands before you. It speaks to you telepathically. "Thank you...for releasing me from my vegetative state."
You give it the thumbs-up, "no probs." And it walks off into the forest, never to be seen again.
