Threaten the man

You put your hand on the pommel of your sword lightly, enough to show your point.
"You wanna run that by me again? I thought you just told me to leave."
At this, the owner merely scoffs at you before rage masks his face. He backhands you across the face, sending you sprawling across the floor. You reach for you sword, only to realize it has been knocked away in the commotion. The owner merely steps on the sheath, blade inside, and glares down at you.
"You would dare to threaten me!? I've served almost two hundred people before you in the name of the Union, and only twice before have I ever had someone insult me, let alone threaten me! One thing the Explorer's Union never tolerated is their people threatening townsfolk. Once I report this, it's over for you!"
About a day and a half later, you receive a letter telling you your Explorer title has been revoked, and your money from the smith taken to repay the owner of the inn. You seem to also be a reject of the town, with no one letting you purchase or use anything.
