You are Darmok Jalad, born on the planet Tanagra threehundred years ago. You steped into service of the chapter when you turned 20 - actually much too old to become a space marine, but the tech marine "Servus" who picked up your emergency-signal on his way back from his apprenticeship on mars introduced you to the chapter. Because of your fighting skills you showed while the ship was somehow infiltrated by Dark Eldar, the former chapter-master made an exception for you when he found you surrounded by six Succubi with broken necks, torn out guts, smashed in faces and other bad injuries.
When you survived all the implantations and rites to become a complete space marine, he even gave you the last survivor of the six, Temba (she greeted you with wide arms for not killing her), as your personal slave.
But back to the actual story. The greatest part of the fleet of your chapter always sticks together, so you won´t lose track of each other. Only some scout ships go ahead a few lightyears, but you meet each ship in regular periods on preset coordinates.
As you drop out of the Warp, half of the scouting ships are already gathered, while the remaining ships drop out of the Immaterium one by one.
Three of the ships each found planets worth looking at for the new fortress-monastry. One captain tells you about a space hulk they followed some time. They did not enter it, but the sensors indicate that it could be suitable for aquiring. Who knows what useful technology could be found there, what glorious battle can be fought on it or if it could become a new home?
