You let George get hit by the car like he's supposed to. Lorraine brings him into the house. You head over to Doc and explains your situation. You hide out in the Doc's place for a few days while he works on getting you back to the future. During this time, you try to warn him of his death but he won't let you tell him anything. You decide to write a letter to him. During the night that the clock tower is struck by lightning, the Doc finds the letter you wrote to him and tears it up.
You decide to travel a few minutes before his death and save him. Returning to 1985, you see the Libyans shoot the Doc again. You run over to him. Fortunately, he had a bulletproof vest. At some point during the following 30 years, he put the letter back together and took measures to prevent his death. The next day, everything is back to normal, you haven't changed anything. George is still some loser bullied by Biff, Lorraine is still a drunk unhappy with her marriage and your brother and sister still suck. Oh, and your car is still totalled thanks to Biff.
The next day, you are walking with Jennifer when the Doc arrives with a car from the future. He tells you that your future kids are in trouble.
