By rubbing your face against the surface, you're able to adjust the blindfold. You regain some of your sight.

"My favorite movie character is Raymond Lemorne from The Vanishing," you tell Miss S.

"The Vanishing?" she asks. "Never heard of that-"

Before Miss S can finish, Raymond Lemorne appears behind her and presses a chloroformed cloth against her face. She passes out.

"Hey, thanks Raymond!" you say. "I can always count on you to be stalking my every move."

"No problem," Lemorne replies. "Now if you'll excuse me, there's an open coffin waiting for this young woman."

"Hey!" you exclaim. "Aren't you going to free me?"

Lemorne pauses for a second.

"Uhhh... I don't have anything to cut through your bonds," he says. "And I need to leave, because this chloroform is going to wear off in twenty minutes."

He rushes out of the room, leaving you trapped.

Well. This certainly does suck.
