Tell Marla about yourself.

From Create Your Own Story

You tell Marla everything there is to know about your life, right up to the moment where you met her. She listens intently the entire time, puffing away on cigarettes until you finish.

"Well, it's good you found me. Two will survive better than one, I think." She reaches down into a small cooler by the table, plucks out a bottle of water, and tosses into your lap. "I'm nobody important. Lived here in the city my whole life. Worked as a yoga instructor. Thirty. Parents both dead. Mom from cancer. Dad died when I was young from a bad heart. No brothers or sisters." She shrugs, then stubs out her cigarette into an ashtray on top of the table. "Boring average life, like most people, until this."

You nod. She shrugs again. "Plus," she says, "we're both single and of the appropriate sex."
