Striklikl: So here's the jist for those of you that want the spoiler and to know what the heck the vong is doing there;

The Yuuzhan Vong is there with an experimental spore that injects into the reproductive system, the spores feed on the force and cause an insatiable lust, powered BY the force, and sustained by the force as a sort of nutrition, that it funnels into sexual desire. If it's "unfed" by force energy, eventually over about eight hours (The force is created by living things, so in a living body it is being fed trace amounts of building energy, but not enough) it will starve to death. If it is given force energy to feed on, it will continue to grow in power and completely override the host with absolute sexual tension, and that desire will be all the more powerful when nearby another force sensitive (4,000 midichlorians or more in an individual) and the spores will be transferred similarly to an instant STD.

Why a woman? Because stuffing a penis with the stuff is a much more painful idea to think about than stuffing a vagina with it. That's what Vaginas are for, after all.
