You decide that you should go upstairs and check on Ali.
"Ali," you say softly not wanting to alarm her. "Ali I live next door. Your father asked me to watch you while he goes to campus for a speech." You start to repeat yourself a second time when you notice a shower is running. The noise seems to be coming from the room at the end of the hall. The door is open slightly spilling a yellow tinged beam of light against the wall.
