15 minutes later, you and Katy are sharing a banana split and Donna is munching her way through a large bowl of ice cream. "And when the police arrived, I was just returning to the building. I found a hiding place and watched as Tyrone was struck down by a cop's bullet. I made myself scarce for an hour, then walked over to the school and waited for you, Katy. Now, what have you been up to?"

"And Brandon dodged the knife, and it hit a cop in the leg. She drew her gun and shot Mark in the temple. Then he took me back to the house and since we were both in shock, we found comfort in each other. He was very gentle and wanted to make sure we didn't do anything dumb, so he pulled out. And he appears to have fallen hard for me."

Donna's eyes sparkle with laughter. "Did that all happen the way my sister said it did, Brandon?"

You grin. "She speaks the truth. And I have fallen for her. She's beautiful, sexy, and incredibly sweet. I'm not sure what being in love is but I know every moment I spend with Katy is wonderful and I miss her like crazy when I have to leave."

Donna giggles. "That is pretty much what being in love is. Shall we head home?"

"Sure," Katy agrees. "Brandon, do you want to stay for dinner and spend the night?"
