"I'll buy the ingredients for something nice, and bring it over to your house," you tell her. "How does Chicken Kiev sound?"
Valerie nods approvingly. "I'll make a side salad."
You buy the appropriate ingredients, and on Saturday evening, you show off your cooking skills. Valerie makes an excellent salad to go with your culinary creation. Neither of you drinks alcohol, so ice water is the beverage of choice.
When you finish up, you help Valerie clean the kitchen. She guides you to the couch. "I thought we'd watch a movie," she suggests. Two movies lie on the table. Valerie nestles up against you.
