"How about Marvin's Marvelous Burgers?" you say.
"Sounds good," Annabelle replies. "Let me just go to the bathroom to freshen up." When she's done, the two of you head over to Marvin's.
The burgers and fries are excellent. The conversation is good, but not great. But that's all part of the game, you think. You have to get through lots of small talk with Annabelle, slowly get to know her better, convince her that you're a normal guy instead of some creepy weirdo with unacceptable fetishes. At the end of the meal, she pays the check. You're glad you suggested a cheap place after she said she was buying.
As you head out to the parking lot, a tall, burly man bumps into Annabelle. "Hey, why don't you watch where you're going, you dumb bitch," he says.
