Stick with the back roads

You decide to stay away from the main roads. You want to make it as unlikely as possible that you'll bump into a contact with any enemies.
Hoping for some small town out here with gas, you keep driving along the lonely dirt roads through the Syrian desert. And driving. You sigh as you look at the gas gauge again. Too late to go back now. You don't have enough to get to the main road. All you can do is keep going.
You drive over the crest of a small hill, enabling you to see a fair distance ahead. No civilization in sight. You sigh again. The engine begins to sputter. You put the Jeep in neutral and coast downhill as far as you can go before the vehicle finally stops for good.
