You direct your attention to the shorter of the duo. "Hello," you say. "I'm Ty. Can I get you something?"

"I'm Louisa," she says. "Sure. I don't drink, but a sandwich would be nice."

You order two sandwiches, one for you and one for Louisa, and start chatting. Suddenly, the tall woman interrupts. You'd almost forgotten she was there. "Watch yourself, Louisa," she says sternly. "Don't fall for his tricks."

You Decide To:

• Tell the tall woman to butt out
• Continue your conversation with Louisa as if nothing happened
• Tell Louisa you don't have any "tricks" and so she has nothing to worry about
