You distract yourself from all the bad things that are bound to happen to you, by focusing on all the bad pranks you can pull on them. Your guards eagerly help you in thinking up ways to annoy them and time seems to fly as you have a great time on the last days you can spend together with them. Chances are you'll never see any of them again after you leave the country.
The two-weeks carriage ride is over before you know it. You jokingly say goodbye to your people and give them a smile, suppressing the urge to cry like a little girl. Unlike some of your guards, which warms your heart. You are firmly resolved to not let them down, no matter what happens. Needing a break from the oppressive emotions, you prepare to pull your first prank as you invite one of your female guards along. She has the look of a true devil-warrior, you figure it'll be fun to see their faces close up as they realize cute little you is the one known as the 'devil warrior'. You quickly wipe the smirk from your face as you approach their escort.
The carriage is sub-standard for royalty and is obviously meant as an insult (even tough yours actually looks even more plain - but hey they don't know that..). The escort itself consists of 50 guards - they probably figured it might be a good idea to provide adequate protection since they do want you to arrive in one piece. You can't help but notice how all of them are as ugly as they come. There's only a handful of equally ugly servants and maids - another useless attempt at insulting you since you don't really need any servants.
According to your clothing however, you present yourself as a cute, graceful girl - You decide to not even bother trying to pretend to be naive and innocent since that never works out for very long. Still, you doubt any of them could imagine you wielding a sword as you are now and it comes as no surprise that they mistakenly address your guard instead of you. Allowing your people to start a tirade over how they could mistake your guard for your royal highness.
You do your best to hide your amusement at the embarrassed look on their faces and gracefully approach them. "Please take care of me" you tell them in your most angelic voice with the cutest little curtsey. They look stupefied and can't help but show you all the respect you ought to be shown as the princess of another country, even tough they'd obviously planned on embarrassing you by being as rude as possible.
