"I..." you say, quickly detailing your story, thinking the only way to escape getting raped by your father is to pose as your mother's younger sister. "I've never met her, because she was taken by orcs before I was born. But her name is..." you pause, trying to remember what your father would occasionally call your mother. "S-Seria."
Both your father and mother gasp in shock. "That... that can't be." your mother quietly utters. "I... I have a sister?"
Trying your best to play the part, you widen your eyes, forcing some tears out. "S-sister?"
The house becomes deathly silent, as you wait for whatever happens next, desperately hoping she believes you. It seems like forever before something happens, but it's your mother who makes it happen, bringing you into a hug. "I have a sister. I have a little sister." she cries.
"Great!" your father bursts in. "I still want to rape her."
"No!" your mother snaps, looking at your father with daggers in her eyes. "Don't you dare touch her!" Your father takes a step back, knowing all too well not to challenge her authority when she's like this. Her focus then returns to you. "Come, sister. I'll take you someplace safe."
She takes you into your parents room, and locks the door behind her, keeping your father out. You sit down on the bed, and she sits next to you. It's quiet, nothing said between you, and you start to wonder how long you can keep this lie up. If she were to find out, would she be heartbroken? Would she be angry? You don't know, and you aren't sure you want to find out.
