Return to the Assassin’s Guild to collect your pay

Ignoring your hunger and the itching caused by the sun, you decide you may as well go and collect your pay as soon as possible. You wave your hand, and a cyan-coloured crystalline pen appears in it. You then quickly draw a complex pattern in the air with it, before stepping back to allow the dimensional gate to open.
After a moment, the air shimmers, which you take as your cue to step forward. In one movement, you are transported to a large ornate hallway. A wiry old man notices your appearance, and walks over to you.
“Ahh, Ariadne,” he greets you cheerfully. “How was the Capital Continent?”
“Dull,” you reply, not showing the same enthusiasm for conversation that the old man clearly has. “It’s not exactly like this mission took place anywhere near the Capital City... I was out in some wilderness with only one village and a few houses dotted around, hardly a sprawling metropolis.”
“Very well then, I’ll get straight to the point,” said the man, changing his tone to appreciate the iciness of yours. “How did the mission go?”
“Perfectly, as always, Guildmaster. Exactly as specified.”
“Very good. Your pay has already been delivered to your account.” He smiles at you knowingly, and then walks away.
What now?:
- Check to see if there are any new mission you can embark on
- Socialise with fellow Guild members
- Head to your dormitory
