Pokemon: Dash through the Route 201 Forest anyways?

Every second you waste getting help is another second the thief has to escape.

With that reasoning, you take a deep, calming breath and prepare to do what could possibly go down as one of the dumbest things you will ever do with your life. You take off in a dead sprint through the forest filled with wild, unpredictable Pokémon and hope against all hope that you survive this.

In truth, though, the only Pokémon you really have to worry about are the rather territorial Starly flocks. They've been terrorizing the forest for years, though they're weak enough that even a novice trainer could fight their way through, if you had your Pokémon that is. The rest were either too timid to approach or were too slow to catch you in your sprint.

But the Starly were fast. Faster than you at any rate, and were aggressive enough to attack on the slightest provocation. Which is why you constantly had your eyes trained up into the trees in case you had to suddenly dodge or dive away from a beak or claw.

Amazingly, you manage to make it through Route 201 without a scratch and, after a few more minutes of running, reach Lake Verity.

Your well acquainted with the lake and the local legend surrounding it. According to the myth, three legendary Pokémon managed to stop what could have been the apocalypse over a thousand years ago and came to rest in three lakes in Sinnoh. The legend says that one of the three sleeps at the bottom of this very lake.

You're broken from your thoughts, however, when you notice a very unique spacesuit-clad man further down the shore, rummaging through a bag.

How do you want to handle this?

• Pokemon: Grab a rock from the ground, sneak up, and club the man over the head?
