No way. Take the bug out bag, flashlight, and move. Now.

From Create Your Own Story

You've seen enough movies to know where this is going. Sitting still is just waiting for something to come to your door. If you move now, while you're ready, supplied, and while everything is hectic outside, you might stand a better chance of slipping off somewhere safer than your second story apartment.

You slip out the door into the hall, and as soon as your door is shut behind you, you can hear screaming from the first floor. A shrill piercing scream from the throat of a woman that sounds like she's in major distress. You immediately begin to consider helping, when the screams suddenly die out. A clap of thunder rattles the building, and drowns out the rest of the sounds, and you know you need to move. But where?
