So you wait calmly in the car patiently and eventually you actually get to the shopping centre. Your mom's first priority is picking up presents for your dad's upcoming birthday so you spend some time checking out gizmos in one of the stores.
You and your mom run more errands: You pick up dry cleaning, you pick up some pool chemicals and other assorted things before your mom drags you into a clothes store.
"Moooom."
"I know, I know. But we won't be in here for long but you've grown out of most of your trousers and I need a new dress."
You sigh but there's not much you can do. You and your mom whip around the store and pick up various items before making a beeline to the changing rooms, which are notably unmanned.
"I guess they've just run out of staff." your mom says with a shrug as she hands you your clothes to try on and then goes into a changing room, shutting the curtain behind her.
