You stir, jolted awake by a sudden motion. The bus has come to a stop, and with it, so has your trance. You are vaguely aware of what happened, but none of that matters now. You've arrived at State University at last.

You look out the window and see some low clouds, a few nondescript buildings and a whole lot of trees. On the hillside you see a group of large buildings that you recognize from pictures. They're just a few of the many dormitories at State University. There are going to be many new things to learn, and a lot of people to meet; certainly far more than there were in the town you used to call home. You grin to yourself and get your stuff together. You've been working hard for the last three years to get here. Your parents would have been proud.

You walk off the bus and the bus driver gives you a weird look, as if he's not sure why you were on his bus. You head into the bus station's bathroom to clean up a bit and are shocked to see yourself in the mirror. You are exactly what the Voice said you'd be! The decrepit, hobbling form you remember has been replaced by a muscular, athletic body, and your disfigured face is now sharp and handsome.

You can hardly think straight. What the hell are you supposed to do? For lack of anything better to do at the moment, you decide to walk up the hill toward the University. Time to live the life!

You head up the hill, lugging a large duffle on your shoulder. The campus is still a few blocks away, but already you see there are some cute girls here. They're a lot different than the girls in high school, that's for sure. A few of them disappear into a café. You're tempted to follow them in and try to strike up a conversation.

But up ahead you hear the bell tower on campus ringing and it reminds you that you need to get the keys to your dorm room and get settled in. Classes start in the morning. There'll be plenty of time for girls later. You laugh to yourself; an hour ago, you never would have been able to think like that.

Finally, you get to the campus and get a good look at what will be your home for the better part of the next four years: State University. It's not a bad looking place. It's really a fairly typical university campus, but it's home now.

You spot a large banner ahead that reads: "New Students: Welcome Center Straight Ahead!"

Do you:

• Head to the Welcome Center
• Wander around campus for a while
• Go back to the cafe where the girls went
