You have chosen to be the Makkar, the demon "solider". The Makkar are physically advanced and are the strongest demons of all. Their proficiency in combat is unsurpassed.
You serve the Ruler of the City in the demonic dimension. You are a member of an elite unit. One day, while the Ruler is celebrating his wedding, and you and your platoon parade in his honour, the Ruler becomes the target of an assassination attempt. Fortunately, this attempt fails, and the magical masters of the City identify the assassin has come from the human dimension. You, as one of the best members of the elite unit, are chosen to be sent there along with other demons, track this assassin down and bring him to justice.
You and your companions undergo vigorous training that has to prepare you for the human world. Then, you are sent, along with others, into the human realm.
You are given clothing and a scimitar, your preferred weapon. Then, you jump into the portal.
When your head stops spinning, you are alone in a forest, at night. Maybe your first objective should be to locate your companions? But you should first find a human to possess - you attract too much attention this way. To the south there is a valley, and a small town as you can judge from the lights. What do you do?
You have advanced to Power Level One! - Your muscles grow, giving you additional strength. Your feet cover in scales, eliminating your need for shoes.
