You stare at your partner for a moment, then with a sucking sound pull out of the young mother, letting her collapse to the ground.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's get out of here," you say, zipping up your pants and walking past your dazed partner, climbing into the passenger side of the car. He hesitates for a moment, as though he's wondering if he should leave the poor woman alone, then shakes his head and climbs into the driver's seat.

As you drive away he watches you warily out of the corner of his eye. "I'm worried about you. That wasn't the man I've served with ten years back there. What the hell is going on?"
