With what money you had left you bought weights and a little rowboat.
Late in the day you head to the beach, and you row far offshore, until you can't see the beach anymore. You take off your clothes and toss them into the water. You tie your ankles together and tie the weights to your ankles. You tie your hands behind your back.
You lay in the boat, ankles and wrists tied, naked in the sun.
