Leaving/Janet/Ask Kay to get something down

From Create Your Own Story

Chopping all that wood has made you spent. Kay nods in understanding, and removes a hunk of smoked meat from the ceiling. She slices it thinly and gives you your portion on a tin plate.

The two of you eat in companionable silence. When the meal is finished, you wash the plates and put them away.

"I'm glad you're here, Janet," Kay tells you. "It's nice having an extra person for certain tasks."

"I'm glad to be here," you say. "It's lovely to be somewhere I can be truly me."

After some reading, it's time for bed. "Would you like to share a bed?" Kay asks. "Some people like the feel of snuggling."
