Ambacelia
Essentially, the equivalent of the USA. It's about as big as real-life Canada, but it's mostly tropical and subtropical. Only small portions in the most northern parts of the country are temperate. Most of the human population lives along the coasts or relatively close to them. Much of the population that doesn't lives near major rivers. This was initially for reasons of trade and food, but continued long after because everybody loves the beach. The internal land is populated by other races, primarily Elves and Goblins.
Like most countries in this world, public indecency, such as public nudity, public masturbation, public urination, and public sex, are all completely legal. Its climate, however, means that these are all much more common than nearly anywhere else, especially with how casual the society is to sexuality, even for Kinkfinity.
Most characters, and all currently existing storylines, happen here, specifically in or around a medium-sized beach city.
Its government is a representative democracy and is currently led by President Annia Ronn.
Kaltland
The equivalent of Germany. It's a cold-temperate country, around the size of real-life France. Nurse Mary is from here. It's notable for its increased prevalence of pale skin colors, cold weather, and funny accents. Its population is almost entirely human.
Idaina-umi no Kuni (偉大な海の国)
The equivalent of Japan. Where anime comes from. There's more radioactive material in the drinking water in this island nation, meaning weird hair and eye colors are common; more unusual mutations, like extra limbs, are rarer, but still happen. Its population is mostly human, but with a significant population of Nekona.
Its name is an endonym, roguhly meaning "Land of the Great Ocean". It is often shortened to just "Idaina-umi" or "Idaina". The exact origins of the name are unknown, but it's believed that an ancient poet described the country as such due to how majestic the ocean looks from its shores. A more crude origin comes from a legend of an Idainese queen who was too proud to use the restroom during a party. This party dragged on far longer than anyone anticipated, until after the second month straight of no relief, her bladder finally gave up, filling the ballroom with long-overdue urine. One of the guests referred to this as a "great ocean" while knee-deep in pee, and the name stuck.
Nekonat
The equivalent of Russia. Cold, full of fluffy, drunk cat girls, with lots of vodka and silly hats. Most of the population are nekona, but there's a significant human minority.
Its government is a constitutional monarchy and is currently led by Tsaritsa Cattherine "The Great" Zhelezina.
Queenly Confederation
A country inspired by Saudi Arabia and the other Arab states, but overall very different. The Queenly Federation is a large country, spanning over a region mostly consisting of deserts, with some mountains and savannas here and there. The country sees frequent sandstorms, which, a long time ago, prompted the practice of everyone wearing a type of scarf around their head - the hijab. Wearing one isn't by any means mandatory, but it has ingrained itself in the culture of the country enough that not many refrain from doing so.
The Queenly Confederation is surprisingly progressive, although in ways that often baffle other countries. Examples include public legal nudity as long as you wear shoes, and no official age of majority; in this case, the specific age of majority is dictated by the individual dominions, with numbers ranging from "none" to "25" depending on where you go. The only trend observed as to the age of majority is that sparsely populated dominions tend to have either low ones or none at all.
The country also has a unique government system - instead of true heads of state and government for the entire country, each region of the country has its own Queen sovereign, all of whom, along with their parliaments and advisers, run their dominion with partial autonomy. Each Queen sends representatives to the Confederal Congress, with the number depending on their dominion's population. This congress dictates law at the federal level and handles foreign policy. Overall, the Queenly Confederacy can be said to be a Semi-representative Constitutional Polyarchy.
The sole exception to the Queenly dominions is the capital dominion, which is run by the Congress through an elected Governor.
