You decide to keep swimming, remembering a helpful tune from an old movie you once watched. Thankfully, you manage to navigate the treacherous waves and pass effortlessly through Portal 57. There's a flash of light, and you find yourself in your hometown. Everything looks the same. Just how you left it. You start to walk toward your parents' old house.
But as you walk, a crowd begins to gather around you. The color drains from your face as men and women get out of cars to stare at you. Children point and scream. Police on motorcycles appear and tell you to kneel on the ground. Confused, you comply. This strange place is exactly like your hometown.
Except in this world, apes evolved from man!
The police take you to the station and throw you in a small cell along with two apes.
